About Us

Our story began in 2015 when Leroy and Ruthanne designed and hand-built The Sparrow Barn with the help of their family. The barn's beautiful, rich wood was brought all the way from New York, Ruthanne's home state, and carefully installed by Leroy and his family to create the charming venue you see today.

With a lifelong love for hosting Christmas parties and family gatherings, Leroy and Ruthanne dreamed of creating a special place where others could come together and make lasting memories, too.

Today, The Sparrow Barn welcomes families and friends from across Florida to celebrate life's special moments while enjoying the peaceful countryside and natural beauty of our five-acre property in Lithia, just outside of Tampa.
